Plug is a modular system for the construction of eco-sustainable architectural structures that are entirely customisable. Plug stems from the idea of being able to compose and create, with extreme simplicity, "living units" (habitable units not necessarily intended for residential use), in any environment, natural or urban, by combining prefabricated natural elements with the most innovative technological solutions.
Plug is in fact a modular plug-in architectural system (from the English, to connect, to attach) that draws inspiration from the typical elements of garden architecture (gazebos, pavilions, greenhouses, coverings, canopies, tensile structures, etc.) and allows the creation of hybrid in-outdoor systems because they are composed, as needed, of closed or open, fixed or removable elements; integrated with every furnishing element and service; entirely self-sufficient; and finally, transformable over time into fully-fledged residential units.
Plug is a project born for e-commerce that aspires to innovate the real estate system by taking inspiration from the automotive industry, in particular from that of small cars, also in terms of communication, marketing and distribution. The possibilities of the internet will allow potential clients to experiment with and configure their living units according to various chosen options, even before having them built.
