Rug made using the hand tufting technique. The circular shapes that decorate the rug in relief are hand-chiselled and repeat across the surface of the rug according to a predetermined pattern. The Ros(a)e rug can be made either in a solid colour, with tone-on-tone decorations, or with one colour for the background and a maximum of three colours for the decorations. The decorations can be made in wool or silk in the colours of the Paola Lenti Pom Set collection. Dyeing on silk makes all shades lighter, and this creates a tone-on-tone effect on rugs made with a wool background and silk decorations in the same colour.
